[Look For Less] Rihanna’s Givenchy Rottweiler Sweater

Not only are the tops hot, but the way they both wore them made them look even better. Rihanna, who opted for the Givenchy sweater rather than t-shirt, is well known for her good girl gone bad look… and I personally love the bad girl more. /divdiv align=”center”br //divdiv align=”center”When I’m not in my military inspired gear or dressed preppy, you can bet that I’m going to be dressed in all black or something similar. I love the whole rockstar style that she does, and I’ve incorporated it heavily in my wardrobe. I know I said I really didn’t have anything motivational to say, but I thought about all the struggling college students like myself and thought I would speak on the subject a tad./divdiv style=”text-align: center;”a name=’more’/abr //divdiv style=”text-align: center;”Now initially all through grade school I absolutely adored school…. judge me lol. But really I wasnbsp;the smart girl in school. I mostly got straight A’s andnbsp;B’s and I didn’t have to study much. I have a photographic memory where I remember everything how I see it, sonbsp;school pretty much came natural.nbsp;(Now I really hate school more than you could ever know LOL, so serious). Anyway back in high school when it came time to pick a college (I had been accepted into UNC), I found out I was pregnant with Trey so obviously I altered my plans and instead opted to go to the community college here. Of course I received all types of negativity, and rightfully so being that I was only 18 and pregnant, but I went with my gut and did what I felt was right in my heart. /divdiv style=”text-align: center;”br //divdiv style=”text-align: center;”Well let’s just say like all life plans, NOTHING worked out the way I thought it would. I graduated high school in 2007 and had numerous college credits under my belt already, and it STILL took me until this past December to get just my associates degree. When I first started at the community college, I had to drop every single class my very first semester because I had Trey right towards the end of the semester. I had missed majority of my classes and failed to take my exams. Back then I was really young and no one in my family had been to college, so I didn’t realize how important it was for me to actually withdraw from my classes before it was too late. On top of that, I was so stressed from the fact that I was having a baby, honestly school wasn’t that important in my eyes anymore. Major setback./divdiv style=”text-align: center;”br //divdiv style=”text-align: center;”After that I ended up moving away for a year and I did the community college thing there while I was away. Trust me if you think college is hard, you can’t imagine how hard it is raising a toddler and paying all your bills on your own. Needless to say that didn’t work out and I ended up moving back home. My move back home is what made me buckle down on my studies and get the job done. I love my hometown but I hate living here, and I know that college is my only certified ticket out (hopefully anyway lol). With that said, like Inbsp;stated in my previous post today, I’m finally getting ready to go into the bachelor’s program at ODU for professional writing. BUT it took me four years to do what could have been done in probably one and a half. The main struggle for me is battling with the fear of failing, knowing that so many people are expecting me to do just that. But my friends have helped me so much along the way, reminding me it’s not when you finish as long as you do./divdiv style=”text-align: center;”br //divdiv style=”text-align: center;”I basically said all that to speak to those that are younger than me… your education is pretty much your lifeline. After going through four years of struggle and working a 9-5 ever since Inbsp; graduated high school, I know this isn’t what I want to do for the rest of my life. If I’m going to be a TRUE boss chic all across the board, I have to stay on top of my education and so do you. There’s really no excuse for why it can’t be done. Man it feels like it’s been forever and a day since I’ve written a blog, and from what I’m used to it has! My laptop died on me the week before last and I’ve been trying to get it fixed, only to find out that I need a whole new motherboard. Now I think I’m going to replace the motherboard and keep it another year or two before I actually get a new one. That laptop has EVERYTHING dealing with the Boss Chic Files on it, so I may as well keep it around for awhile :) /divdiv style=”text-align: center;”br //divdiv style=”text-align: center;”I know it’s Positive Monday, but I have not done anything in the past week that may give you any motivation. LOL don’t judge me but I seriously have been relaxing with my feet up for like the past week. I loved every minute of it! Not only did I release my body from any work, but I released my mind as well. I have had the most stress free past few days, so I’m feeling very rejuvenated on this beautiful Monday. On top of that today is supposed to be 60 degrees, then for the next three days it’s going to be in the high 60′s, almost 70! Man it’s been like eight years since we heard anything from him! In 2004 he came out seemingly ready to make a steady career out of rap when he dropped two singles in one year. The first was “Game Over” which I absolutely loved. The Pacman beat was hot and the remix was even better. Then he dropped “Sunshine” with a chick named Lea which I also loved./divdiv align=”center”br //divdiv align=”center”"Sunshine” was a pretty big hit for Lil’ Flip landing at #2 on both the Billboard Hot Ramp;B/Rap Songs as well as Billboard Hot 100. It went on to become his most successful single to date, which isn’t saying much since we haven’t heard much from him since then. This song came on my pandora last night and instantly brought back memories from my freshman year in high school! Let me start by saying for the first time I wasn’t very happy with this episode *sad face*. As big of a Game stan I am, it just seems like something was really missing from the show. I called my cousin last night to recap on the show afterwards, and he brought to my attention how the show isn’t about football at all any more. It’s more about the money that comes with the football and the endorsements etc. But I really do miss the scenes from previous seasons where the guys were in the locker room goofing around and whatnot. The show has changed, but I do still love it./divdiv align=”center”a name=’more’/abr //divdiv align=”center”Now the episode started off with Malik and Tasha who seem to be back in full effect as a team. SN: I know he is NOT back living with his mama lol! Malik soon finds out that he doesn’t have any money saved and is almost in debt. To make up for it, the Sabers’ owner puts him on a budget of $25,000 which Malik assumes to be a daily spending limit. Come to find out it will be $25,000 a month (I would die to make that much a month!). Malik who is known to ball out of control doesn’t handle this well at all. Meanwhile TT appears at the mansion in his brand new whip as Malik’s cars aka his “babies” are being towed away. TT reminds Malik that it’s his birthday and makes him promise to show him a good time./divdiv align=”center”br //divdiv align=”center”Malik and TT go out to celebrate TT’s birthday and of course Malik is still fronting like he’s balling out of control. Estelle shows up at the club as a guest star, and Malik sends bottles over to her table. Then Shawn Marion (WTF is up with his hair lol) appears as well and Malik ends up buying endless drinks for the entire club. But did ya’ll see that Meagan Goode look alike that TT found in the club and asked Malik who she looked like?? LOL I was too weak! At the very end of the episode we find Malik sitting alone in the club as Tasha Mack comes to pick up his tab as she always cleans up after him whenever he makes a mess in life. After she scolds him and walks off with the bill, Malik is left sitting alone with a drink in hand… I can only hope that he’s not about to go back down the same road as in season 4./divdiv align=”center”br //divdiv align=”center”On the other side of Saber City, Derwin and Melanie are having their fair share of problems as well. Melanie finds out that Derwin has rehired Irv after he tells her that Irv sealed a Verizon deal for him. Melanie begins to feel some type of way because Derwin didn’t let her in on his decision to hire his manager back, especially after Irv dropped him previously. Derwin told her that now that he’s making money Irv wants him back, and if Irv drops the ball he can quickly be replaced. SN: I still can’t deal with Derwin’s corny ass lines like “I’m Charlie Sheening it!” LMAO! Mel tells Derwin that she’s gonna stop giving him the goods if he doesn’t let her help manage his career so he makes up a lie and tells her that she’s actually in charge of Irv./divdiv align=”center”br //divdiv align=”center”Once Melanie hears this, she stays true to her “med school” self and tries to take matters into her own hands. She appears at the legal meeting between Irv and Tasha which was set to determine who would get paid for the Verizon deal for Derwin. Melanie tries to take Irv’s side, but Tasha Mack in true form was NOT having that! She then pulls out phone records providing proof that she made over 100 calls to Verizon, then provided proof of calls that they made back to her. She then provided text messaging records where Melanie had thanked her for setting Derwin up with Verizon. One thing you can say about Tasha Mack is since she started her own management business, she has been on point with it! (Something Melanie could take note from)… Tasha then quickly puts Melanie in her place by telling her to be a wife and go make a baby or fry some chicken… then reminded Melanie that she can do neither! POW! Tasha don’t play that lol./divdiv align=”center”br //divdiv align=”center”When Melanie gets back home Derwin is mad at her for messing things up because now he has to pay both Irv AND Tasha for the Verizon deal, but she flips it on him for lying to her about being the CEO of the family. Derwin asks her to just be his wife and let him take care of her. She reminds him that she gave up her medical career for him and he told her that he didn’t ask her to. So in return she tells him that he wouldn’t even be in that position if it wasn’t for her… But Derwin hits her below the belt and tells her that it’s his hands that catch the footballs not hers. Melanie in true form gets mad and storms off to their room, and of course Derwin comes to make it up to her. She pushes him away and tries to be funny by spreading her legs as to say all he wants her to do is lay down and give him some when he wants it lol. But then Derwin apologizes and professes his love for her and they fall asleep hand in hand awww :) /divdiv align=”center”br //divdiv align=”center”The storyline behind this episode was pretty good, but like I said I feel like a certain element was missing. I would LOVE for The Game to go back to the days when Mel, Tasha, and Kelly all sit around cracking jokes and drinking wine. Or having Derwin asking Jason and Malik for relationship advice. It’s more dramatic now than comical, but I won’t give up on the show. I did hear that Kelly would be back next season, but she had other things going on during filming this year. I just hope that it doesn’t go off air again due to the changes, because we waited so long to get the show back. /divdiv align=”center”br //divdiv align=”center”What are your thoughts about last night’s episode?
