Love & Hip Hop: Ratch City!

stevejoseline

I am definitely here for Love and Hip Hop Season 2!!! I have been waiting what seems like forever and a day to see my favorite reality star Joseline on tv again lol. She is a bad bish!! I don’t care what anyone says, Joseline is milking her L&HH fame and taking it to the next level, and using Stevie in the process. Who mad? Mimi lol. This season’s first episode was FULL of drama and ratchetness just like I like it, and I can’t wait to see what the rest of the season has in store!

To start off, let me just say that Mimi has to be the dumbest chick I’ve ever witnessed in my life. How can she even entertain a conversation with Stevie after all he’s said and done to her? I mean he’s literally played her face so many times that I lost count. When Joseline barged in his house without knocking, I was WEAK! Stevie didn’t even check her on that so really Mimi where do you stand?? I just can’t take her seriously, and at least Joseline does make a mockery of Stevie at any chance she gets. I guess that’s why I rock with her so hard. “Don’t touch me” LOL!

Now moving on to Scrappy “the entertainer” and Ericka… I really want to be happy for her, I do… but Scrappy definitely still has some growing up to do. Ericka is a really good woman which is easy to see so I hope Scrap treats her right this time. On another note, how PATHETIC are Shay and Mama Dee? Shay, sweetie, his mama cannot make him want you no matter how many times you spill your soul to her lol. What type of mother would want her son with Shay over Ericka anyway?? I just can’t!

*falls out hollering* LOL!

*falls out hollering* LOL!

We all know that K. Michelle is as unfiltered as they come and from the looks of it nothing has changed this season. As she was helping Ericka plan out her engagement party, the only person she wanted on the list was Mimi lol. You gotta love K for keeping it real at all times, and she definitely gained my respect when she let Arianne know how she was feeling upfront. I like Arianne as well and I appreciated how she apologized to K for airing out her dirt with K’s ex in an interview without telling her personally. K wanted to be so mad at Arianne but they ended up laughing about it in the end. A perfect example of when real recognizes real! #respect

At the end of the episode we got a glimpse of what’s in store for the rest of the season and let’s just say it’s some drama for yo mama!!! A few things that stood out to me were: 1. Ericka putting Mama Dee out of her house then Mama Dee literarly charging back in LOL! 2. Mimi having yet another conversation with Stevie… I’m sorry at this point he would have absolutely nothing to say to me 3. Rashida and K Michelle getting it INNNN… I’m anxious to see how that plays out!! 4. I was literally shocked to hear Rashida say she might be pregnant and her husband respond with “We need a blood test. Rappers are well known for sleeping around” O_o YIKES! Whew they are bringing the drama this season and I’m all for it!! *sips tea and waits for Monday* Post your thoughts and catch the full first episode if you haven’t already after the break!

XOXO,
LaBellaBoss ♥

[Lyrical Lesson] Have Rappers Gone Too Far?

Wayne-Ross

Finally someone is standing against degrading, disrespectful rap lyrics in the industry and I ain’t mad one bit! I’m sure you all have heard about the radio station that has pulled Rocko’s new song “You Don’t Even Know It” from their playlists due to Rick Ross’ ignorant line about slipping someone a Molly. The lyrics specifically say, “Put Molly all in that champagne, you don’t even know it. I took her home and enjoyed that, she ain’t even know it”. Umm excuse me?? I didn’t even realize this until today and I’ve heard the song on the radio several times. Usually if the radio is on I just let whatever play because it’s edited, but clearly I need to listen a little more closely for the sake of my own child.

What Is The World Coming To?

div align=”center”/divdiv align=”center”iframe allowfullscreen=”" frameborder=”0″ height=”390″ src=”http://www.youtube.com/embed/WzM5v1YDcmE” title=”YouTube video player” width=”480″/iframe/divbr /br /div style=”text-align: justify;”br //divdiv style=”text-align: justify;”br //divdiv style=”text-align: justify;”Good morning bosses amp;amp; boss chics! It’s been a week since I’ve blogged for you guys; last week was my spring break from school and I must say I took advantage by not doing ANY work lol #dontjudgeme. However I’m back on the grind now, and I apologize for the lack of posts for the past week! br /br /Now I’m sure my local hometown readers already know this, but for those of you who visit this blog from different areas let me fill you in. Here’s a run down of where I’m from. I grew up and live in Martinsville Va, an extremely small citynbsp;with not much to offer. It used to be well known for its manufactoring companies, but since majority of those have shut down it’s so difficult to find a job here now. In a nut shell, it’s no telling what might go down here these days because there’s no work which is causing an increase in the crime rate. br /br /With that being said, it was recently reported on our local news station that the KKK would be hosting a rally in one of the area’s parks on April 2nd. Supposedly they are going to be lighting a cross as well. First of all I swear I didn’t know the KKK even still really existed or did these types of “marches”. Just a few days ago, I saw on Facebook where someone has started another rally that will be marching against the KKK. I’m sorry, but I know I can’t be the only one blown by this O_O… Here it is 2011 and violence is still happening due to race and backgrounds?? When there is so much other bs going on around us like lack of healthcare, lack of employment, rise in gas prices, etc. #wheretheydothatat… Booth (one of the people I get to help me with the blog) aka a href=”http://www.twitter.com/TWlTTERWHALE”@TWlTTERWHALE/anbsp;who is also from my hometown wrote a “Letter To Martinsville” that I thought was worthy of a post. This comes right on time with everything going on in this city. Check it out below!br /br /SN: If this were YOUR city would you stand against the ignorance and march against the KKK?? Let us know!br /br //divdiv style=”text-align: justify;”a name=’more’/a/divdiv style=”text-align: center;”br //divdiv style=”text-align: center;”"Letter To Martinsville”/divspan style=”font-size: x-small;”blockquote style=”text-align: justify;”span style=”font-size: x-small;”blockquoteblockquote style=”text-align: justify;”div style=”text-align: justify;”span style=”font-size: x-small;”I don’t want to sound like I’m judging. br /I remember when I was a youngen on the block hustling. br /I’m speaking to the mothers who are tired of losing their lovers, cousins, and brothers. We must look above us instead of killing one another. br /The world is hard and cold. Leaving us sheep separated from the fold. br /Burying our friends is getting old. Time to be bold. br /Time to build a better living. Love our women and teach our kids about forgiving.br /This is just the beginning of our prison. Trapped, most are feeling. br /I’m praying for healing. Where are the people ready for rebuilding? br /The only thing we can do is get smarter. Teach our daughters to become scholars. br /We need fathers. Those who would rather be doctors and not worry about who’s harder. /span/divdiv style=”text-align: justify;”span style=”font-size: x-small;”Who killed our dreams? Lack of wisdom keeps us unable to achieve. br /Those who believe and are not decieved by the devil with tricks up his sleeves. br /We say R.I.P but we do the same things that cause our grief. We need to be free. br /Turning our pain into a story. We need to see the glory. br /Fight for our city, making it look pretty instead of ugly and shitty. br /We can play the blame game but that doesn’t change a thing.br /Trust me I feel your pain but its not always gonna rain.br /If you’re a leader be a teacher or a preacher. br /Think about the bigger picture before our city crumbles beneath us.br /nbsp;Its never too late to do something great. Don’t wait, do it today. br /Make better choices to change our city into something gorgeous. br /This is a message to all of us. br /I hope it doesn’t fall on deaf ears. br /The time is now for change in Martinsville./span/div/blockquote/blockquotediv style=”text-align: justify;”/div/spannbsp;/blockquotebr /br /span style=”font-size: small;”XoXo,/spanbr /span style=”font-size: small;”LaBellaBoss lt;3/span/span
