The Game Season Finale

the-game-season-6 (1)

The season finale of The Game from last night just completely blew me away! I’m very impressed with this season and after seeing last night’s episode, I can’t wait until the next one starts! Kiera gave up her virginity to Blue and as the two get out of bed that morning, she puts on a cheerleading outfit and gives him a pep talk to help him play better in his first game. Everything starts off well between the two until the game the following day.

[The Game] Guess Who’s Bizzack

Last night’s episode of The Game was so good!! It had the comical sense from previous seasons, but the love scenes between the couples are what have melted my heart! On this episode Blue is struggling at the team’s training camp after dropping three consecutive passes from Malik. Jason then goes and shows Blue up by catching a running pass from Malik in his suit pants, button up shirt, and hush puppy dress shoes lol. Malik is so upset about Blue’s lack of ability that he skypes Tasha and Tee Tee on 3-way. Of course Tasha and Tee Tee had the jokes rolling, but came up with a solution for Malik in the process. Tasha felt that Blue needed a Sunbeam to help get him on his game, but Tee Tee and Malik felt otherwise.

Tasha and Jazz (my favorite!) take it upon themselves to pay Kiera a visit and talk her into being Blue’s Sunbeam. She tells them that she and Blue aren’t on that level, but he later calls her asking her to bring him his favorite pillow. Of course Kiera gives him attitude at first but at the end of the episode she’s seen meeting him so he can get his pillow. They agree that as long as she owes him $75,000 she’ll be his support system in the football world. They made pinky promises to each other! I thought that was sooo cute!! I just love them! I’m like Melanie and Derwin who at this point?? Lol

[The Game] Getting to Know All a Butt You

Another Tuesday night…. another episode of The Game. I may be in the minority but I just love this show! In last night’s episode Kiera and Blue’s flirty exchanges are put on hold as the focus is shifted to Chardonnay and Jason. After last night I must say that I have really grown to love this couple. Chardonnay challenges Jason in ways that he could have never imagined before, and she doesn’t settle for the improper treatment that he gave Kelly in the past. He’s in love with her sassy ways and how she is always herself no matter what.

[The Game] We Gotta Stop Meeting Like This

I don’t know about anyone else but I’m really liking the new season of The Game! Tasha Mack has the most going on living a double life with both Rick Fox and Pookie. At the beginning of the episode she’s Facetiming Pookie and as they say I love you to each other and disconnect the call, Rick pops up from behind a pillow in her bed! Her son Malik also has his own issues as he’s still dealing with his alcohol addiction in a club surrounded by drinks.

Happy Saturday everyone! I’m sure most of you are in Charlotte enjoying CIAA weekend, if so I hope you are partying it up for me too! So as you know BET’s The Game is coming back next month for its 6th season and our all time favorites Melanie and Derwin won’t be back *sad face*. This time there will be two totally new characters and I’m kind of excited to say that Lauren London is one (I LOVE her!). I’ve read up on the new season a little bit and thought I’d fill you in on what to expect.

The Championship Game

What’s up bosses and boss chics! I don’t know if anyone has been keeping up with season 5 of The Game other than myself and a few people I know, but it has been interesting to say the least! The season started off a little rocky and stereotypical but as the weeks passed the show progressed. I wanted to blog about how good the season finale was; it had so many unexpected twists and turns! I definitely loved how it ended and it has me waiting for season 6.

[The Game Recap] Game Opening, Game Closing

Since my computer was messed up, I didn’t get to do my post on last week’s episode of The Game but I’m backkk span style=”font-family: Wingdings; mso-ascii-font-family: quot;Times New Romanquot;; mso-char-type: symbol; mso-hansi-font-family: quot;Times New Romanquot;; mso-symbol-font-family: Wingdings;”span style=”mso-char-type: symbol; mso-symbol-font-family: Wingdings;”J/span/span Last week’s episode was quite boring to me, but this week brought me back to life. /divdiv class=”MsoNormal” style=”margin: 0in 0in 0pt;”br //divdiv class=”MsoNormal” style=”margin: 0in 0in 0pt;”In last night’s episode, Jason and Chardonnay are hitting it off and he takes her to the movies. He asks Chardonnay if she wants popcorn and she tells him that she actually brought her own snacks then starts pulling out Ziploc bags full of candy LOL! I thought Jason was going to call her ghetto and be turned off, but the fool then brought out his own bag too lol. On top of that they start yelling out at the movie together, running everybody else out of the theatre./divdiv class=”MsoNormal” style=”margin: 0in 0in 0pt;”br //divdiv class=”MsoNormal” style=”margin: 0in 0in 0pt;”This first scene shows that Jason is starting to actually like Chardonnay beyond their unplanned marriage. But when Jason asks Chardonnay if she would like to actually continue dating him, she tells him that she feels like they’re in two different places in life and rejects him. Jason who isn’t used to rejection at all doesn’t know how to handle this, so he calls on his boys for help. Of course in the last episode, Malik and Derwin still weren’t on speaking terms so they initially thought he was trying to get them back talking. However, when he revealed that he was married to a black woman (one who acts like Tasha Mack at that lol), they told him that he has to fight for his woman. /divdiv class=”MsoNormal” style=”margin: 0in 0in 0pt;”a name=’more’/abr //divdiv class=”MsoNormal” style=”margin: 0in 0in 0pt;”Jason then goes back to talk to Chardonnay only to get shot down yet again. He starts going on date with random black girls to get over her, all to no avail. This makes Jason do the unthinkable in his eyes… he goes to Tasha for advice. Ya’ll know they can’t stand each other from previous seasons lol so I found this to be quite funny. After they got past their differences, Tasha let him in on the “black woman’s plight” telling him that we wait and wait for a good black man to come along and then when he does we push him away. After hearing that Jason went back to see Chardonnay yet again to get his woman, and she finally agreed to date him for another four weeks until their annulment then they would see where things lead. SN: I just LOVE these two together! But I do miss the old Kells span style=”font-family: Wingdings; mso-ascii-font-family: quot;Times New Romanquot;; mso-char-type: symbol; mso-hansi-font-family: quot;Times New Romanquot;; mso-symbol-font-family: Wingdings;”span style=”mso-char-type: symbol; mso-symbol-font-family: Wingdings;”L/span/span/divdiv class=”MsoNormal” style=”margin: 0in 0in 0pt;”br //divdiv class=”MsoNormal” style=”margin: 0in 0in 0pt;”On another note, for some reason I wasn’t feeling Mel and Derwin’s scenes from this episode. The whole church thing was totally irrelevant to the show to me, but it was pretty funny nonetheless. The couple were getting ready for church on Derwin’s Sunday off when Melanie informed him that she had switched their home church. When they got to church it was in a VIP section, Melanie had texted the pastor and told him not to start without them, and Melanie was more worried about who she could see than the actual service. Mel told Derwin that they pay good money to sit in VIP at church, and after showing him the check book he gave her an ultimatum between going back to their old church or sitting in the back of the new one. Mel decided to stick with the new church but when they went the next Sunday they couldn’t enjoy the service because of people asking for money, autographs and pictures from Derwin. Just a MESS! /divdiv class=”MsoNormal” style=”margin: 0in 0in 0pt;”br //divdiv class=”MsoNormal” style=”margin: 0in 0in 0pt;”The main thing I got from Mel and Derwin’s story last night is that they are still on two different levels religiously (remember last season?)… I definitely can’t wait to see how this plays out as well as Jason’s relationship with Chardonnay, Mel and Tasha’s friendship, and Malik and Derwin’s. Are you still into the show like you used to be? Give us your thoughts below!/divdiv class=”MsoNormal” style=”margin: 0in 0in 0pt;”br //divdiv class=”MsoNormal” style=”margin: 0in 0in 0pt; text-align: center;”SN: Sorry this is so long but I didn’t want to skip any details!/divdiv class=”MsoNormal” style=”margin: 0in 0in 0pt;”br //divdiv class=”MsoNormal” style=”margin: 0in 0in 0pt; text-align: center;”XOXO,/divdiv class=”MsoNormal” style=”margin: 0in 0in 0pt; text-align: center;”LaBellaBoss ♥br /div style=”text-align: center;”/div/div

The Game: No Money Mo’ Problems

br /div class=”separator” style=”clear: both; text-align: center;”a href=”http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-sHi0eRKxJSI/Txa8Weq1OVI/AAAAAAAAB7o/Cgq9AedpXhk/s1600/no+money+mo+problems.jpg” imageanchor=”1″img border=”0″ nfa=”true” src=”http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-sHi0eRKxJSI/Txa8Weq1OVI/AAAAAAAAB7o/Cgq9AedpXhk/s1600/no+money+mo+problems.jpg” //a/div br /div align=”center”Where do I start with last night’s episode of The Game? Let me start by saying for the first time I wasn’t very happy with this episode *sad face*. As big of a Game stan I am, it just seems like something was really missing from the show. I called my cousin last night to recap on the show afterwards, and he brought to my attention how the show isn’t about football at all any more. It’s more about the money that comes with the football and the endorsements etc. But I really do miss the scenes from previous seasons where the guys were in the locker room goofing around and whatnot. The show has changed, but I do still love it./divdiv align=”center”a name=’more’/abr //divdiv align=”center”Now the episode started off with Malik and Tasha who seem to be back in full effect as a team. SN: I know he is NOT back living with his mama lol! Malik soon finds out that he doesn’t have any money saved and is almost in debt. To make up for it, the Sabers’ owner puts him on a budget of $25,000 which Malik assumes to be a daily spending limit. Come to find out it will be $25,000 a month (I would die to make that much a month!). Malik who is known to ball out of control doesn’t handle this well at all. Meanwhile TT appears at the mansion in his brand new whip as Malik’s cars aka his “babies” are being towed away. TT reminds Malik that it’s his birthday and makes him promise to show him a good time./divdiv align=”center”br //divdiv align=”center”Malik and TT go out to celebrate TT’s birthday and of course Malik is still fronting like he’s balling out of control. Estelle shows up at the club as a guest star, and Malik sends bottles over to her table. Then Shawn Marion (WTF is up with his hair lol) appears as well and Malik ends up buying endless drinks for the entire club. But did ya’ll see that Meagan Goode look alike that TT found in the club and asked Malik who she looked like?? LOL I was too weak! At the very end of the episode we find Malik sitting alone in the club as Tasha Mack comes to pick up his tab as she always cleans up after him whenever he makes a mess in life. After she scolds him and walks off with the bill, Malik is left sitting alone with a drink in hand… I can only hope that he’s not about to go back down the same road as in season 4./divdiv align=”center”br //divdiv align=”center”On the other side of Saber City, Derwin and Melanie are having their fair share of problems as well. Melanie finds out that Derwin has rehired Irv after he tells her that Irv sealed a Verizon deal for him. Melanie begins to feel some type of way because Derwin didn’t let her in on his decision to hire his manager back, especially after Irv dropped him previously. Derwin told her that now that he’s making money Irv wants him back, and if Irv drops the ball he can quickly be replaced. SN: I still can’t deal with Derwin’s corny ass lines like “I’m Charlie Sheening it!” LMAO! Mel tells Derwin that she’s gonna stop giving him the goods if he doesn’t let her help manage his career so he makes up a lie and tells her that she’s actually in charge of Irv./divdiv align=”center”br //divdiv align=”center”Once Melanie hears this, she stays true to her “med school” self and tries to take matters into her own hands. She appears at the legal meeting between Irv and Tasha which was set to determine who would get paid for the Verizon deal for Derwin. Melanie tries to take Irv’s side, but Tasha Mack in true form was NOT having that! She then pulls out phone records providing proof that she made over 100 calls to Verizon, then provided proof of calls that they made back to her. She then provided text messaging records where Melanie had thanked her for setting Derwin up with Verizon. One thing you can say about Tasha Mack is since she started her own management business, she has been on point with it! (Something Melanie could take note from)… Tasha then quickly puts Melanie in her place by telling her to be a wife and go make a baby or fry some chicken… then reminded Melanie that she can do neither! POW! Tasha don’t play that lol./divdiv align=”center”br //divdiv align=”center”When Melanie gets back home Derwin is mad at her for messing things up because now he has to pay both Irv AND Tasha for the Verizon deal, but she flips it on him for lying to her about being the CEO of the family. Derwin asks her to just be his wife and let him take care of her. She reminds him that she gave up her medical career for him and he told her that he didn’t ask her to. So in return she tells him that he wouldn’t even be in that position if it wasn’t for her… But Derwin hits her below the belt and tells her that it’s his hands that catch the footballs not hers. Melanie in true form gets mad and storms off to their room, and of course Derwin comes to make it up to her. She pushes him away and tries to be funny by spreading her legs as to say all he wants her to do is lay down and give him some when he wants it lol. But then Derwin apologizes and professes his love for her and they fall asleep hand in hand awww :) /divdiv align=”center”br //divdiv align=”center”The storyline behind this episode was pretty good, but like I said I feel like a certain element was missing. I would LOVE for The Game to go back to the days when Mel, Tasha, and Kelly all sit around cracking jokes and drinking wine. Or having Derwin asking Jason and Malik for relationship advice. It’s more dramatic now than comical, but I won’t give up on the show. I did hear that Kelly would be back next season, but she had other things going on during filming this year. I just hope that it doesn’t go off air again due to the changes, because we waited so long to get the show back. /divdiv align=”center”br //divdiv align=”center”What are your thoughts about last night’s episode? Leave us a comment and let us know!/divdiv align=”center”br //divdiv align=”center”XOXO,/divdiv align=”center”LaBellaBoss ♥br /div align=”center”br //div/div
